The mission...
All modern well-paid jobs (and not just science jobs) require a firm understanding of mathematics! Computers are central to doing mathematics in the modern world. It is thus important for students to learn how to use computer-based tools if they wish to compete in the 21st Century. We are now updating our computer facilities to allow us to bring these tools into undergraduate mathematics classes. We take our responsibility to provide our students with the latest techniques very seriously, and many faculty members are ready to help you.

What we can do for you

Our undergraduate laboratory is located in Tilley Hall, in room 422. We are in the process of converting it from a dumb terminal lab to a PC lab. Right now, we have a printer, 15 Wyse terminals, and 21 PC's. All machines can access Jupiter, and the PC's allow access to the undergraduate Novell servers. We are working with Computing Services to get important software installed, and we can provide in-house help on that software.
